Frequently asked questions
Clear answers before the first conversation.
A commercial finance introducer connects businesses with third-party finance providers. Amworth Business Lending reviews your requirement and, where appropriate, introduces you to providers whose criteria may align with your circumstances. We do not lend money or make lending decisions ourselves.
No. Amworth Business Lending is a commercial finance introducer, not a lender. We introduce businesses to third-party finance providers. All lending decisions are made independently by the provider.
No. Submitting an enquiry allows the Amworth team to review your requirement and identify providers that may be able to consider it. Finance is never guaranteed and all decisions are made by the provider based on their own assessment.
We ask for basic business details, an outline of your funding requirement, the intended use of funds and your contact information. This allows us to review the requirement and consider which providers may be relevant.
The lending decision is made entirely by the finance provider. Amworth Business Lending does not approve applications, set rates or determine eligibility. The provider conducts its own assessment independently.
No. You are under no obligation to proceed with any introduction or offer. The decision to accept a finance offer rests entirely with you.
Amworth can facilitate introductions for a range of commercial finance categories including business loans, working capital, cash flow finance, asset and equipment finance, invoice finance, commercial mortgages, property development finance, bridging finance, refinancing, and growth and expansion funding.
We aim to acknowledge enquiries promptly, though exact response times depend on the information provided and the complexity of the requirement. We do not guarantee specific timescales on behalf of any provider.
Yes, any business can submit an enquiry. However, provider appetite for businesses with limited trading history varies. Some providers specialise in newer businesses while others require a longer track record.
A decline from one provider does not mean finance is unavailable. Other providers may view your requirement differently depending on their criteria and appetite. However, we cannot guarantee that an alternative will be found.
No. Amworth Business Lending will not share your information with a provider without your agreement. We discuss potential introductions with you before any information is passed on.
Our fee and commission arrangements are confirmed in writing before any introduction is made. Further details are available on request.
Depending on the finance type, amount and provider, security such as a charge over property or a personal guarantee may be required. Any security requirements are set out by the provider in writing before you commit.
Rates and terms are set by the provider based on factors including the type of finance, amount, term, security offered, business strength and the risk profile of the application. We do not quote rates on behalf of providers.
Amworth Business Lending takes data protection seriously. Information you provide is used only for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and, with your agreement, making introductions to providers. We do not sell personal data. Full details are set out in our Privacy Notice.
